Maths - 5 Activities

Believe it or not, but we have reached the end of year five arithmetic quizzes which means that all of the skills for year five have been covered. We all know though that we need to practice what we have learned so that we can perfect it. A footballer does not get good from playing one match; just like a mathematician does not get good from practising a skill once.

I have provided practise tests which can be used to test your skills that you have learnt.

Activity 2: Add and Subtract Fractions

Start by watching the video. Then continue to work on the activity. The answers are included to check your work. If you get it wrong, you should figure out why you got the answer incorrect.
If the sheet cannot be printed off, then it should be completed in the workbook sent home or or paper. Questions should be clearly labelled and presentation should be neat.

Activity 3: Add Fractions
