At Ripple, we use Charanga as a resource for teaching music. Each lesson is full of listening tasks, games, singing, playing instruments, composing, improvising and performing. Each lesson the children build on their previous learning to continue to develop their skills and improve.
The children in years 4,5 and 6 have their own accounts to the website and are able to access the material from home. Homework assignments are set up on their accounts to keep them practicing and learning.
Additionally, every year group in KS2 is leanring to play an instrument.
Year 3 is learning to play the glockenspiels
Year 4 and 5 are learning to play the recorders
Year 6 is learning to play the boomwhackers
