Open Parents Morning: This gave parents an opportunity to talk to the classroom teacher about upcoming curriculum, view the class environment and see examples of resources used in lessons and of outcomes of children's learning.
Science ROCKS! We investigated the different textures, appearances and uses of rocks. We also found out about 3 different classes of rocks and how they are formed! WOW. We now know how they can be used in our everyday lives.

We are linking our learning to History
Stone Age Fun 2019: Year 3 had a Stone Age Day where children and staff were encouraged to dress up as someone from prehistory. During this day we enriched our learning though story telling, a hunting reenactment and finding out further information about the Stone Age. We now know how hunters and gatherers may have lived in the past.
