I have worked at Ripple since 2016 and have been a subject leader for Design and Technology for the last four years.  

I enjoy being a subject lead of Design and Technology as it allows me to inspire and support the whole school community: children, staff and parents in the importance of my subject.  Children have Design and Technology competitions for the most imaginative products which involve parents.  Parents are also involved in making products and sharing their skills with children in class.

Through creativity and imagination, they design and create items that solve problems in the real world. Design and Technology enables children to draw on their maths, science, computing and art skills. 

I am passionate about providing students with the tools they need and skills to actively contribute to the creativity, culture, wealth and well-being of themselves, their community and their nation.
