I have worked at Ripple since 2016 and have been a subject leader for Religion and World views for the last year.  In my career spanning 30 years, I have also been the subject lead for other subjects that have included: art, English, history, P.E, assessment and the curriculum.  

I enjoy being a subject lead as it allows me to inspire and support the whole community: children, staff and parents in the importance of my subject.  

I believe in the power of education to build bridges between diverse communities and cultivate a culture of empathy and understanding. I am passionate about providing students with the tools they need to navigate a multicultural world, encouraging them to be open-minded, respectful, tolerant and informed individuals. 

Children need to be active and involved in their own learning and I will endeavour to make sure that Religion and Worldviews are taught this way.
