Ripple
Primary School
I have worked at Ripple for since 2012, and started as an LSA in EYFS. Since then, I have worked in all Key-stages and have been the lead teacher of the Ripple CMLD ARP since 2021. I also became the KS2 Science lead shortly before Easter 2024 and I look forward to the opportunity to raise the profile of science as a subject within the school.
“The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds new discoveries, is not ‘Eureka!’ but ‘That’s funny…” – Isaac Asimov
I have worked at Ripple since 2019 and it has been a journey through lock downs. I have started my journey as a subject leader for science later this year with the hope of exploring and expanding the science community and curriculum.
My mission is to inspire curiosity and a love for learning in every student. Through hands-on experiments, interactive lessons, and real-world applications, I aim to make science engaging and accessible. I believe that fostering a deep understanding of scientific principles helps our students develop critical thinking skills and a lifelong passion for discovery. I hope the children can explore the wonders of the natural world and beyond!
