Year 6

Has your child left their P.E. kit and /or coat in school? Please see the details on the letter below that informs you when you / they can collect their belongings. Thank you.

It was wonderful to have a Y6 pupil’s mum call to say that she is very pleased with the way that the school has dealt with the return of the Year 6 children.  She felt that they were safe and was happy that we were checking up even on a second day of absence to see how her child was.  She was confident about sending her child to school and said it confirmed her feelings again that her child was being kept safe, as staff were being vigilant with this virus as it is.

Thank you so much for your positive comment. a tremendous amount of thought and planning went in to welcoming Y6 back on the 22nd of June. It was worth it knowing that the children, and their parents/ carers, feel safe to be here.

Thank you for taking the time to complete the Y6 questionnaire. We received 105 responses, which were collated and individually reviewed.

It is reassuring that Mr. Mitchell and his staff are all thinking about the same issues as you regarding keeping your child safe. Mr Mitchell is currently working with his whole staff team to ensure that we have the necessary PPE and relevant equipment in place to keep both pupils and adults safe. As soon as we have that we will look forward to welcoming Y6 back. Details will be sent out as soon as we are ready to safely resume teaching your child.
