Rights Respecting Schools
We are proud to be a UNICEF UK Rights Respecting School and are currently a Bronze Committed School, working towards achieving Silver. Children’s rights are at the heart of everything we do, and we believe that understanding these rights helps every child feel safe, valued, and respected.
Across our school, children regularly learn about their rights and the responsibilities that come with them. Adults work together to model, teach, and uphold these rights, ensuring that children’s voices are heard and that all children are supported to thrive, learn, and succeed.
Voices of Ripple
Children and adults from our school share their thoughts about a UNCRC article that is important to them. Using the prompts “Together, we can” and “For tomorrow, I will,” they share why the article matters and how it relates to life at our school. Some also discuss the actions we take, as well as ideas for what we can do together in the future, to raise awareness and ensure that everyone’s rights are respected.
